Take a Chance

Finally, I can unveil my Take a Chance logo.  If you've listened to my podcast, you will know that my theme for this year is to “take a chance.” I am going to do my best to apply this to all parts of my life.

Is there anything you want to take a chance with? Here's my FB cover image to go with the theme.

I think it's a good reminder of what can happen if you take a chance. For me, it's been so far, so good.  Things are working out well and it has only been a week into the new year.  What about you, though? Is there something you've always wanted to do but have held back? It could be anything from learn to swim, to speaking in public, to changing career paths. Take a chance. I mean be smart about it, but still take a chance.

You never know for sure what will happen unless you try.

And apparently if you try, people shouldn't criticize you. 🙂 I'm kidding.

But let me be serious for one second. Let's say you've always wanted to learn how to dance. Well, why not take a class and learn? Or just go to a club and dance your heart away? What's stopping you from doing that? I mean what's the worst that can happen? You label yourself as “not a dancer?” Well you already have that label right? So just by trying, giving it a shot, you would be a dancer. Granted, you might not be a very good one but you'd still be a dancer. And with practice you might be a very good dancer.

That's just a simple example. The point is take a chance this year on something you've always wanted to do but have been holding back on doing. Just go for it! You might be surprised by the results.

You can do anything you want to do, with faith, focus, and perseverance.

My Take a Chance move is going to be putting myself in front of the camera on January 26, 2015. Yikes! I'll share the results here, no worries. Wish me luck. 🙂
