Kid President – Making Moves at Age 9

Time to make moves! I received an email from my sister Gina J. the other day telling me about a move maker that is leaving a big impact on the world today.  She wrote so well, that I'm just going to share what she said.

Gina J. on Kid President:

I first saw Kid President when he and his brother-in-law made a YouTube video called ‘A Pep Talk From Kid President.'  It was everything – hilarious, sweet, reassuring and most importantly, motivating.

Kid President is Robbie Novak – an 8-year old who along with his brother-in-law, Brad Montague, make videos to motivate people. Their message is simple: Be awesome. Do awesome things. And if it doesn't make the world a better place, then don't do it. ‘We were made to be awesome.'

I don't know much of Novak's back story but I heard that he has Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a congenital bone disorder that causes brittle bones and as a result, he is prone to breaking bones (so in many of his videos you seem him with a cast).  He was adopted when he was young and he loves his family.

Here are my three favorite KP Videos.

1. The Original: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-gQLqv9f4o

2. A Tiny Poem to the World: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JhwaRYOgxo

3. His latest, Pep Talk to Teachers and Students: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwlhUcSGqgs

Thanks for sharing Gina and you are right. Kid President is definitely a MOVE MAKER. I love watching seeing this kid living life and having fun. 🙂 Kudos to him and Brad for doing something the enjoy and sharing it with the world.

Kid President you keep being awesome and making moves. Listen to the kid because he knows what he is talking about. He is a president after all!!
