You read the headline right. This is not a hoax. A husband-wife couple in Australia, Alan Murray and Janette Murray-Wakelin said running is NOT impossible and made a commitment to run a marathon everyday for a year. One entire year. Do you know how many miles that comes out to?!
I'll help you with the math. There are usually 365 days in a year and there are 26.2 miles in a marathon.
365 x 26.2 = 9,563 miles
That is a lot of miles! They actually ran more than that but keep in mind they ran at least 26.2 miles consistently every day. I trained and ran a half-marathon in 2012 and I could not move the next day. I am in awe of their dedication and training because this is quite the achievement.
A great example of how you can achieve anything you set your mind to. No doubt in my mind that the Murray's make moves. 🙂
